It is an Even Day

  • Congratulations to our students who participated in the local Mathcounts competition yesterday at Upper Iowa University. Decorah teams took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the competition. Taking 3rd place was the team of Emma Johnson, Conner Cook, Lillian Grouws, and Mya Sullivan. The team of Sofie Grouws, James Groux, Noah Lovelave, and Peter Wilson took 2nd place. Taking 1st place was the team of Evie Holyoake, Sophie Weis, Sam Wilson, and Isaac Roberts. Four of our students placed in the individual round. Isaac Roberts took 8th place, Mya Sullivan took 5th place, Noah Lovelace took 4th place, and Sam Wilson took 1st place. We are proud of our Decorah students. Not only did they represent our school intellectually, but they also were top notch in their attitudes and respect.
  • Starting on Monday, a la carte items will be sold from the cafeteria after school from 3:05 to 3:20.
  • Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball teams who play Charles City today. Please excuse the 7th graders at 2:20.
